A Note from our Founder, Giovanna Roman
As a Salvadorian immigrant and mother of three, I am grateful for the opportunity to plant a seed of love, compassion, and care in your little one. It is my passion to work with children and to help shape how they see and experience the world around them. I learn from each child, just as much as they learn from me. Providing care to children gives me the opportunity to thrive on my innate abilities to love and care for others.

It's such a hard and emotional thing to trust someone with your baby. I shed a lot of tears! Trusting Aprende Jugando with my then 3 month old was the best decision. I have known Giovanna Roman since 2000 when my first son was born. She provided top-notch care for him and subsequently for his brother too over the next 8 years, first as our nanny, then
as our babysitter and finally as our beloved honorary “Nana,” a position which she still holds some 24 years later. A truly talented and inspired woman, Giovanna possesses a natural gift along with decades of experience for providing childcare with an eye to a child’s safety, health, education and fun. Choosing childcare is a big decision, and we totally get that it can feel overwhelming. Rest assure

Rest assured, your child’s safety is our top priority. We have secure entry points, vigilant staff, and strict safety protocols in place to keep everyone protected at all times. Your little one will be safe and sound with us. - Health & Hygiene:
We’re cleaner than a hospital (well, almost). We sanitize everything regularly, and all our staff are fully vaccinated. Germs don’t stand a chance. - Qualified Caregivers:
Our caregivers are basically superheroes. They’ve been doing this for decades, and they stay on top of the latest child development research. Your kid is in the best of hands. - Learning & Development:
We’re all about that play-based learning. We focus on helping your child grow in every way—socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically—meeting them right where they are. - Personalized Attention:
We keep our groups small so your kid gets plenty of one-on-one time. No getting lost in the crowd here! - Communication:
We’ll keep you in the loop. You’ll always know how your child is doing, and we’re just a text or call away if you ever need to chat. - Socialization:
Making friends is important, and we make sure your child has plenty of opportunities to play, interact, and build those social skills. - Nutrition:
We’ve got the snacks covered. Healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks are on the menu, so you can cross that off your worry list. - Sick Policy:
Nobody likes getting sick, so we’ve got a clear policy: if your child has a fever, diarrhea, or other yucky symptoms, it’s a stay-at-home day. And our staff is fully vaccinated to keep everyone as healthy as possible. - Trust:
We’ve been caring for kids since 1995, and we’ve earned a reputation for being trustworthy, reliable, and awesome at what we do. You can totally relax knowing your child is in safe, loving hands.
